Twenty years ago today, radical Islamic terrorists attacked the World Trade Center in New York City for the first time, leaving six Americans dead and wounding one thousand others. On that day the militants brought their war to American soil. We now know this ruthless attack was sadly only the beginning of larger attacks to come. Today, we remember the victims of the 1993 bombing and all the other Americans who have died since then at the hands of radical Islamic militants. The United States must remain committed to keeping the homeland safe and fighting those who seek to destroy us.
